Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě (/ˈmæʤtuz/ /ˈkeshɛ/ [dinner] [logic]) is a subtropical Town located in the Jĭìlkìwvǐ District of the Federation of Alveria.

The name Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě was founded by Gp-65e 'Call' Sheg̈, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě has a yearly average temperature of 20°C (68°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 13°C (55°F). Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě receives an average of 233 cm/y (91 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3460 m (11351 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě was founded durring the early 14th century in fall of the year 1323, by Gp-65e 'Call' Sheg̈. The establishment of Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě's construction back out of the project. Gp-65e 'Call' Sheg̈ pushed on reguardles, and Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of restrictive cobblestone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. Unfortuantly, these brittle defences are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Even the most brief look arround Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě has a good chance of putting a church or shrine into the center of your view. The town is most certainly a god fearing community. It’s also definitely a god loving community. THe streetcornors are occupied by preachers, with the occasional intersection playing host to an actually friendly debate relating to the merits of various gods. Even the less popular as well as the less politically loved gods seem to have a space in Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě, there’s even shrines to gods known to the region only through hearsay.

Cultural Notes

Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.

In Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě during thunderstorms, with each flash of lightning, everyone sees different monsters from the corner of their eyes.

The Amoeba, Giant near Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě are known to be quite timid.

Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves reenactments to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 1 via recitation of scripture.

Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě's roads were poorly made when first laid. Rather than repairing them correctly, a series of new roads was laid atop the old, leading to the streets of modern Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě suffering from potholes, cracking, and even sinkholes. The locals often repair the road by putting down wooden decking.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě was attacked by savage tribes living nearby Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě lost 294 people, 186 livestock, and 42 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 148, when members of Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě's militia enacted an operation to escort a particular solgiers group to a safe location. The operation was complicated by blistering heat, such that many succumbed to heatstroke. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a crushing defeat for Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Fìkh Mæjĭtuz-keshě's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
